Laura
Laura grew up in a small town East of Toronto. Her career began back in 2012 when she started working and volunteering with animals at various pet stores and the humane society. She even started her own pet sitting ‘business’! In 2018, Laura moved to Toronto to pursue her education in Veterinary Technology at Seneca College. She graduated with honours in 2020 and became an RVT shortly thereafter, but fell in love with the city and has been in Toronto ever since.
Laura decided to combine her passion for education, animals and business; as she is now in the process of obtaining her CVPM certification. Laura is also enrolled in a Business Management program through Seneca College. In 2022, Laura entered the Yonge Sheppard Animal Hospital and knew she had found her “forever home”.
Outside of work, Laura is either seen studying, at the gym or baking cookies at home with her fur baby, Korra Cat. While at YSAH, Laura is often seen during appointments, doing administrative tasks or trying to find patients who match her outfits. Come in and say hello to Laura, especially if your fur baby has a stylish outfit!
